Montréal singer and multi-instrumentalist Xavier Caféïne brings us an accomplished, dense and eclectic album. In Gisèle, Caféïne cuts right to the heart with his pop/rock style, impeccable production and catchy melodies. In addition to playing all the instruments, Xavier Caféïne co-produced the album with Glen Robinson (Voïvod, The Ramones, etc.).
Gisèle is Xavier Caféïne’s fourth release following French albums Mal éduqué mon amour (1998) and Pornstar (2000) with band Caféïne and his eponymous English project with Poxy (2004). The launch of his latest and first solo album has won huge acclaim in Canada this year and is now primed to cross the Atlantic to take on Europe.
